Recruitment Coordinator in Canada

Come join our growing HR team to build and maintain our talented team within the Bardel Family! As a Recruitment Coordinator, you will work closely with various stakeholders to create and facilitate our recruitment process. Reporting to the Senior HR Manager, you will have the opportunity to make a difference in how we recruit. This is a 3-month contract position with potential of extension or converting to permanent position.

What you will be doing:

• Hands-on recruitment process from creating job posting, arranging interviews, and maintaining communications both internally and externally
• Facilitate the recruiting process for open positions and ensure positive candidate experience
• Keep abreast of recruiting best practice and market pulse
• Plan and participate in recruitment events and school outreach activities
• Ensure accurate and optimized use of recruitment tools (i.e. database, applicant tracking system)

What you will bring with you:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in similar capacity, ideally in high-tech or new media industry
• Proven track record of working under pressure and with a tight deadline
• Ability to think outside the box and adoptable to changes
• Excellent communication (both verbal and written), problem solving, and negotiation skills
• Knowledge of immigration requirements for temporary skilled workers is a definite asset

Pluses:

• Prior experience in HR capacity
• Sense of humour and know to have fun! After all - we make cartoons
