Pakistan Institute of Labour Education and Research (PILER), a civil society not-for-profit organizations registered with Securities Exchange Commission of Pakistan Under Companies Ordinance 1984, is implementing a three year project “Mobilization for Livelihood Rights in Rural Sindh” (May 2013-April 2016), funded by Trocaire Pakistan office.

Following project staff is required for working at PILER head office at Karachi and Satellite office @ Hyderabad. The jobs are exclusively project based for one year only and included extensive travelling assignments in 4 districts of Sindh (Dadu, Mirpurkhas, Umerkot and Sanghar).

1. Field Coordinators                                               2 positions

2. Monitoring and Evaluation Officer                     1 position

Qualifications: Minimum M.A. in any relevant discipline with at least 2-year experience of working in the development sector in Sindh is a must, preferably in the above mentioned 4 districts.

Field Coordinators

Experience in mobilization and organizing advocacy events in the relevant districts and good writing skills in English and Urdu are must. Linkages with the local civil society organizations, workers groups, relevant government officers and local political leadership is an added advantage.  Relevant knowledge about rural workers’ issues is required.

Monitoring and Evaluation Officer

For M&E Officer job, the relevant experience in monitoring and evaluation in any national or international organizations is a must. Regular monitoring and reporting on all project supported activities and designing detailed project monitoring plans are required. Skills to manage quality reports, quantitative and qualitative data, photos, charts, maps, presentations are essential. Writing case studies and other qualitative evaluation documentations, policy recommendations and capacity development support is also required. The M&E Officer will be responsible for the establishment and operation of a project monitoring and evaluation system in PILER.
